Lamine Yamal responds to Raphinha’s Barcelona contract renewal
Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has taken to social media, to provide his response to the news of teammate Raphinha’s new contract.
Wide-man Raphinha of course took his place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital on Thursday evening.
This came after confirmation was forthcoming that the Brazilian had committed his long-term future to Barcelona.
In the midst of a spectacular individual campaign to date, giving rise to 34 goals and 25 assists, Raphinha was rewarded by the Camp Nou brass with new-and-improved terms.
The former Leeds United man is now tied down through the summer of 2028.
Messages of congratulations have since come pouring in for Raphinha, who has managed to turn around what was an at times disappointing start to life in Barcelona colours in spectacular fashion.
And as alluded to above, adding his name to the list of the 28-year-old’s well wishers late last night was attacking partner-in-crime Lamine Yamal.
Taking to his official Instagram account, youngster Lamine reposted Barca’s official announcement, alongside the caption:
