Anybody been following La Liga? Real Madrid has been on a tear since the new year started, with Ronaldo hitting a hat trick today.

Of course, Messi then comes along and get 4 goals for Barca against Osasuna. LOL

It was a great day for soccer with the FA cup games and the 2 La Liga games. Ronaldo & Messi just take my breath away. One with transcendent speed and power. The other is like a virus. Silently he moves through the crowd and assassinates everyone. Messi could have had 6 today if the off sides flag was a little kinder.

I can't wait for this Wednesday. Should be a fun couple of weeks with El Clasico and the start of the knockout phase of the Champions League.

I try to watch La Liga, but I find myself watching more BPL than La Liga. I do usually watch 2-3 games per week though.

Fun game today..... I think both teams played last weekend like they were preparing to win today. It will be a great way to wipe the taste of last nights US v. Canada game out of my mouth!

BOOM!!

Real Madrid goes down to Grenada, who were only 3 points out from the relegation zone.

You can hear the funeral bells tolling for Mourinho.
