Yeah, I don't get that one either. It's probably only one out, at worst, and even then you're in the same spot. Probably higher percentage than Jake getting a hit.

There was literally zero benefit to bunting Perdomo
If he had someone away, he either would’ve
won the game
Been first and third no out with Corbin and Gabby up
If he did a sac fly, it would’ve been the same thing 

Even if he had struck out, you have one runner in scoring position with Corbin and Gabby up, and they would’ve been walked regardless

Tori just didn’t think it through. There was absolutely no reward in bunting Perdomo - it only helped the Dodgers

Still salty about last nights game and batters 5-9 going 3-24. That’s 21 outs or 7 innings of nothing. Basically shrinking the game to a very small area of opportunity.

As I've been saying... we've been showing up to gun fights with butter knifes. With no exaggeration, the following players should either not be on a major league roster, or, should have seen more than 50% less playing time than they've seen with the Dbacks:

Of course, unloading true major league talent in Merrill Kelly, Geno Suarez and Naylor only magnified this problem. And yet, the team somehow remained relevant through 158 games. I think that is nothing short of remarkable.
