These past 30 years, fifth-round RB draft picks have earned a top-10 fantasy season only about 2% of the time. Kyren Williams has now done it twice in a row. Will he do it again in 2026?

Signed to a three-year extension, Williams will remain with the Rams during his prime years. While that's great news for a team built for a Super Bowl run, it's shaky news for fantasy managers who end up drafting him.

2024 third-round RB Blake Corum looked terrific in his second season, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and stepping up down the stretch with five touchdowns in his final six regular-season outings. He's not going anywhere, and in fact, he has room to grow.

Williams should still earn plenty of market love, probably resulting in an RB ADP in the 10-14 range. But he won't have the mammoth ceiling of many other starting running backs who lack a strong #2 RB. Maybe he can finish as the RB8 or RB9 if Corum is capped. Still, that's a big "if," as it's hard to bet against ascending young talents like Corum.

With a 10-14 RB ADP, Williams could be fairly safe. His production floor shouldn't fall below RB20, even if Corum eats a little more into his workload. However, keep an eye on how his ADP shifts during the summer. If he ends up inside the top 12, managers would be drafting him too close to his realistic ceiling.
