His salary next season is already guaranteed. The Cards have to trade him; I won’t believe they’ll pay him not to play until the moment it happens.

I’m doubtful they’ll pay a portion of the guarantee as part of the trade package, TBH.

For all those "not the same injury" folks, this lines up with more with truf toe over linsfranc. Both need full on rest and if the Cardinals did let him practice knowing this, that's on them. They should have put him on IR 3 games ago. At least we'd all be getting along better instead of trying to understand all this cryptic crap.

Sources: Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have consulted with multiple doctors on his foot injury and have been told the timetables for recovery have been anywhere from 4-8 weeks, with an increased chance of setback until it’s properly healed. Murray now has more time to heal.

i don't think he's accepted the demotion - i think the recent injury diagnosis is complete bs - me thinks kyler refused to dress this week to back up brissett - i think they tried to promise him playing time against dallas and he still said no - i think they did everything they could to trade kyler today but couldn't

It’ll happen well before then. If he’s on the roster by, like, March 13 his 2027 salary is guaranteed.

I get that you always want to trust injury reports, but why would Kyler be practicing, and why would they allow him to stand on the sidelines for 2+ games?
