It's sad that we are 7 years into Kyler's career and equally sad, we have 292 pages of comments questioning whether it has been a fruitful career. The only benefactor bearing fruit is Kyler who is now a mega millionaire!

I said this in the other thread

I would still fire Petzing & trade away Kyler. Not a fan of the boring Kevin Stefanski offense that Petzing is trying to run.

Bring in McDaniel once Miami fires him.

But there are all these videos of receivers being wide open and Murray refusing to throw to them. Wouldn't the offense look a lot better if even half of those throws were made? You're getting the results you want, up until the moment that the quarterback decides to eat the ball.

Not unfair, but lacking full consideration of the vantage point available to the on-field participant as fans assess from on high.

Don't the regulars on this board watch other QBs too? They aren't comparing Murray to some hypothetical unrealistic standard; they're comparing him to his peers.

I don't think he's scared. At his size, he understands how to survive. Macho style would have made his career even shorter than that of Andrew Luck.

Agree on Petzing's future and will reserve my views on KM.
That's total ******** and a wasted enabler take.
Quarterbacks have been seeing the whole field for a hundred years.
It takes the ability to see location and depth in a full three dimensions.
Some players just ain't got it.
The skill is not that dissimilar to a guy tracking a punt/kickoff or a WR tracking a deep ball and deciding if he should slow down or speed up.
It's a part of football talent and it has to be further advanced in quarterbacks than other positions.

Because it's difficult and rare for a QB to be able to see the entire field at once offensive coordinators usually break the field into thirds to reduce the workload on a guys processing..the field breakdown is usually integrated into the progressions..something like
Right...deep/shallow
Center...deep/shallow
Left...deep/shallow
Center...deep/shallow
Right....deep/shallow
Checkdown/run

If kyler ain't seeing the open guys it's most likely his depth perception is not clarifying that his guys are yards past the DB...
Or he just ain't looking deep once the ball is snapped in most cases.

I have a degree in architecture...and a. QB, just like an architect or mechanical engineer...or anyone who does design drafting...has to be able to see/envision the subject from every angle,..every dimension...simultaneously
Not everyone has that ability.

Yeah...the All-22's show an offense that could be way more explosive with a QB that stands in the pocket an extra second then makes the 25 yard pass

I remember a time when y'all called me nuts for wanting to trade up for Sam Darnold.... dude could be so damn good right now had he not been drafted by the Jets...his first 4 or 5 years were wasted.

Should the Arizona Cardinals really be talking down on the Jets? What in the world makes you think Darnold wouldn’t have the same result here as he did with the Jets?

Because the Jets have ruined every QB they have drafted since Namath.
QB careers are ruined there,
we have our lumps...but we dont generally ruin Quarterbacks

Those same videos also shows TEs running into each other, WRs not getting enough depth from each other, & running too hot & cold from your best players. This offense is so determined to be run-heavy as its identify despite not having the obvious horses to be effective.

You can look at All-22 on every single offense in the league & there’s a good chance that at least one RB/WR/TE will be open on every single pass play. I don’t expect a QB hit them open on every single passing play because that’s just unrealistic & every QB would be averaging 400 yards, otherwise. Would be nice if our QB hit on some of them, yes.

There’s a reason the Shanahan & McVay trees dominate this league, but you don’t hear anything about a Stefanski tree. They know how to manipulate defenses, dictate game flow, & when/how to adjust.

Im fully prepared for Jacoby to light it up on Sunday and MHJ to have a great game.

No its not because Jacoby is that guy. Its just timing (actually was feeling good about the passing game 4th Qrt Seattle/1st half Tennessee) and wild stuff tends to happen at the end of QBs tenure.

So after Jacoby lights it up (especially if we win) expect full on chaos. Cause thats just the way things go.

Brisset has thrown for 300 yards 6 times out of 89. He aint lighting up anything.

We are going to get smoked in this game.

Last time was with Petzing in Cleveland 2022 I think.

Im not saying 300 yards, but again remember we go conservative after having leads or in tight games. If we're down I wouldnt be shocked by it because we'd be forced to throw/be aggressive.

Again I dont think he's that guy. However, Im fully expecting a 250 yard game with 2 tds.

Because chaos.

Because we are down by 3 tds going into the 4th?

That aint saying much.

250 and 2 tds isn't "lighting" it up my man.

And lets not forget the board thinks we are conservative because BPB doesn't trust K1 not because he is actually a turd of an OC.

There is no way the Kyler regime goes out in some nice fashion. I expect nothing but chaos from the cardinals and Kyler. He wont play any games if his pinky toe is hurt.
K1 was hurt last game was forced to come out and came back in to finish the game that the coaching staff lost.

He has never sat out without a good reason.

I know that “turf toe” sounds minor, but apparently it’s absolutely debilitating and painful. Like a high ankle sprain, it ain’t nothing to play with (as Drake would say).

I think Kyler went out and got a painkiller shot to finish the game last week.
