Nobody is pinning it on K1. Nothing to do with Kyler? You already admitted his one giant dump on the field mistake he made. He definitely contributed to the loss.

He was not the only reason for the loss

But he was a part of it

He also had some really good moments

But it's hard to make up for the bad plays
That play was of course a mistake but not game defining in the least.

You guys can nit pick all you want.

This. So this man.

On the flip side, Geno Smith has changed back into a pumpkin after going to another bad organization.

Kyler Murray is not winning games right now because he plays for a **** franchise. Straight up.

K1 is 1000% being held back by the incompetence around him. And that makes me sad.
Did Kyler lose the game? No. But after the early snap hit his helmet, he stood there and watched the other team recover it without making any effort to get it. He is the QB, team leader, and he sets the tone for the rest of the team. What did he show them? Pathetic.

If this is the product that this organization is going to continue to put out for fans to watch then I may not be watching alot more games this season. " WAY BEYOND " trying to blame any one player or "plays" for the exact same outcomes season after season. It would be different if this organization had some long storied history of winning, but at this point Kyler Murray's play (meh, whatever), Demercado's stupid fumble (meh, whatever), last week's kickoff that didn't pass the 25 yard line (meh, whatever). Change the players names and more seasons than not it is the same result.
The ONLY thing I will say about this current Cardinals state of affairs is; " If Monti and JG want to tie there careers to Petzing then they are not gonna have long tenures in the NFL ". The rest of it seems to be the status qoa ( Except for a few years ) for Arizona Cardinal football.

I bet it bothered Mayfield to get run out of CLE. I bet all the smart guys on the CLE message boards ripped him to shreds before he was finally released. Posted screen shots. Broke down all his bad plays and bad decisions. Called him stupid and every other name.

But I doubt Baker regrets it very much now.

Murray deserves a chance to play for a competent franchise. I won't wish him well when he no longer wears the Cardinal, but just out of compassion for another human being, I hope we trade him tomorrow.

This is hell we're in now.

Amen, Murray outplayed Mayfield when Baker was with Cleveland but now that Mayfield is with a team that plays to his strengths, he looks pretty good. Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones are just three examples of QB's that improve when their playing style matches the O.C's play calling. Looking like it might be time to let Kyler go and give him a shot somewhere else.
The elephant in the room however is, EXACTLY what type of QB will succeed in a Drew Petzing system??? When Murray was out, Petzing's offense looked putrid ( SMH), with Murray back it looks bad ( SMH ). Not sure what type of QB fits this offensive system. Right now Petzing's offense seems to be playing Not to Lose rather than actually Playing to Win. Not sure what type of NFL QB fits that system.

Baker actually won 8 games as a rookie and 12 games AND A playoff game as a 2nd year player.

Kyler’s never had even that shred of success so stop comparing the two.

Baker also doesn’t curl up in the fetal position when opposing defensive linemen breath on him.

Your boy is a grade a wuss. Leader of none. Does this franchise do him any favors? No. But he does very little for himself and has no business being mentioned alongside a warrior like Baker, who’s balling out there with rookies and backups.
Exactly. Baker is tough as nails. Kyler is 10 ply charmin soft. No team is gonna go to war for a "leader" that lies in the fetal position when he's barely touched.

Just like you I’m here for the misery but I’ll be damned to pin this on the guy who has provided a slim glimmer of hope over the last decade.

This loss today had nothing to do with the play of K1 and this franchise has a terrible history of making QBs look bad and that even includes Warner for a brief time.

When K1 leaves here you guys will go back to being desperate to trade for guys like Kevin Kolb again.
And what you'll follow K1 to his next team and join their board. Cuz those guys need to know how good the soon to be hall of Famer is?

This is the hell we’ve been in for SEVEN YEARS.

Just do us a favor, when we finally do part ways with the QB Who Shall Not Be Coughed On Without Taking A Sack, please spare us writing a letter to Kyler comparing him to a lost the prom-king that slipped through your fingers.

That will forever be @Tangodanzer’s cross to bear and never shall anyone take it away from him.

The tough as nails Mayfield? His teammates would crawl in a foxhole with that dude. Murray would be alone in his foxhole. As an ex military person that's what I've been taught, seen, and believe.
