This team will be lost for a decade once K1 is gone
I dont think so. We saw the Texans turn it around quickly after losing a top 5 QB and were awful for a few years.

K1 needs to play his butt off next week for Shane Steichen. Maybe convince them into not overpaying Daniel Jones. Although they would have trade capital. Again its going to be tough to find an easy walk in starting job. Maybe the Raiders, but who knows if Pete wants to do the short QB thing again.

We aren’t the Texans

We are the 0-16 Lions
The Cleveland Browns
The Bengals

Kyler started great. But Kyler also got sacked or made bad decisions when he definitely didn't need to. Try to excuse the grounding play. You can't. Clear chance to throw the ball away but no, the freaking idiot has to run back INTO trouble. One guy is getting pressure? Let's slide RIGHT INTO THAT GUY.

No, Kyler is not THE reason we lost. Yes, Kyler had an excellent quarter of football. Yes, Kyler then fell apart like a cheap watch. If Petzing and Gannon wanted to then go conservative, maybe a vet QB should have the stones to stand up and say no, and freaking audible out of bad play calls.

Sigh... I don't really agree but I'm just so tired man, and it's all a moot point now for 2025.

Like I said, I wouldn't wish any competent player to have to endure the sheer incompetence that we're seeing out on the field and on the sideline this year.

I hope K1 and McBride find new homes soon, because it's the only humane result for both of them.

K1 is better than Baker and Darnold and he will prove that again once he’s gone

I do wish Kyler showed more fire like Baker.

I know thats probably killing him seeing other OU QBs succeed and he's not even in their class.

While I agree.

Bad organizations can make you think both were bad QBs not getting it done with good players.

Nah, McBride needs to stay. He's part of the future here.

And you like to blow smoke
Just like you I’m here for the misery but I’ll be damned to pin this on the guy who has provided a slim glimmer of hope over the last decade.

This loss today had nothing to do with the play of K1 and this franchise has a terrible history of making QBs look bad and that even includes Warner for a brief time.

When K1 leaves here you guys will go back to being desperate to trade for guys like Kevin Kolb again.

We'll get a Cooper Rush and nerds on here will be like "He looked pretty good in that one game for the Cowboys 6 years ago"

This. So this man.

On the flip side, Geno Smith has changed back into a pumpkin after going to another bad organization.

Kyler Murray is not winning games right now because he plays for a **** franchise. Straight up.

K1 is 1000% being held back by the incompetence around him. And that makes me sad.

Nobody is pinning it on K1. Nothing to do with Kyler? You already admitted his one giant dump on the field mistake he made. He definitely contributed to the loss.

I'm praying the same. Let me know the next time Kyler goes over 4500 yards and 40 TDs in a season. That's part of what you claim he's better than. Galaxy brain take.
And that’s the problem. You put K1 into some prototypical drop back passer. He’s not and doesn’t need to be. Our problem isn’t K1 it’s what are we going to do when he is gone and none of you can answer that with how this FO has performed.

It should scare the crap out of you as a fan.

I was saying this offense sucks for so long yet you guys wanted to blame K1. Now we are here after 3 games and another record of losing by three last minute field goals.

I don’t know that it matters. I don’t believe in Gannon or Monti either.
Yup. I would’ve argued with you about MOJG a couple of weeks ago, but today, they have to be tarred and feathered, if for no other reason than their coddling of bad players and coaches

pffft.

How long is going to take to rebuild this team now man?

Seriously. How many players and coaches away are we from winning a superbowl Stout?

McBride is going to labor in obscurity for the next three or four years. By the time there's a group of players and coaches around him that's even capable of winning a playoff game, he'll be past his prime.

It sucks to be Trey McBride tonight. It really, really sucks.
