He is on pace to throw 34 TDs, 0 Interceptions, go 17-0, gain 645 rushing yards, all with a 72.4% completion percentage and 108.4 QB rating.
I think we'll all take that if that is what he is.![]()
We can cross that bridge when we get there. I am going to enjoy 1-0 until next week. The problem is can this team win 10 more games with Kyler playing at this level?
Hurts threw for 152 yards in an ugly win vs Dallas in week 1. Maybe we are using the same playbook.Or how about the craptastic OC do his job. You people wanting tom Brady behind center ain’t getting it. If teams can win Super Bowls with Jalen Hurts we can win with K1.
Instead we are drafting blocking TEs and possession Wrs and running an archaic offense.
K1 haters in shambles

Does context ever mean anything to the people that throw shade? Did you all not see how ridiculously conservative the playcalling was? How predictable it was that us as posters could predict it? The open gate offensive line? The lack of innovation and separation in routes? After going up 20-10, Kyler was the QB of 4 offensive drives.
5 plays, 11 yards.
9 plays, 35 yards.
8 plays, 12 yards.
3 plays, -9 yards,
Games are won in the 4th Q, and by that logic, the defense won the game yesterday.
- Dynamic Murray powers Cardinals offense. Kyler Murray was, at times, unstoppable against a veteran-led Saints defense, effectively utilizing his legs and right arm in a performance that brings back memories of an MVP-level stretch he displayed in 2021. Arizona's star quarterback went 21-of-29 passing for 163 yards and two touchdowns to lead an offense that scored points on four of its first five drives. It's not to say Murray wasn't under duress, either, with New Orleans breathing down his neck all afternoon to the tune of five sacks and 10 pressures on 38 dropbacks. Murray avoided a few sacks with his legs and scrambled for 38 yards, but his efficient passing highlighted the day. Marvin Harrison Jr. hauled in his deepest completion on a 45-yard dime and later scored on a 1-yard pass during Arizona's first scoring drive. Trey McBride (six receptions, 61 yards) was Murray's most reliable target, especially in third-down situations. His best throw came on a wonderfully designed pass play to running back James Conner, where he underhanded a spiral for an easy score. While the Cardinals sputtered down the stretch offensively -- scoring just three points (Chad Ryland's second field goal attempt was blocked) -- Murray begins his 2025 campaign like a play-making QB who can have Arizona compete in an ambitious NFC West.
Next Gen Stats Insight for Cardinals-Saints (via NFL Pro): Kyler Murray completed 8 of 10 passes for 71 yards and two TDs against the blitz on the day, recording a passer rating of 135.8 after finishing with a 79.0 passer rating (fourth-lowest in NFL) against the blitz last season. Murray targeted pass catchers behind the line of scrimmage on 31.0% of his attempts (sixth-highest rate in a game in his career), completing all nine for 20 yards and a touchdown.
NFL Research: Kyler Murray had his 21st career game with two-plus passing TDs and a 100-plus passer rating, tying Hall of Famer Kurt Warner for third-most in Cardinals franchise history.
You mean actual levelheaded analysis thought K1 played well?

Best post on this subject!B- minus performance against a D+ team. 1-0. Literally gave everyone with every position possible on Kyler something to pimp or gripe about.
Rubber won’t meet the road until late November, but can’t get there without early season Ws, and we got that so I’m happy enough for that.
Michael Baca is a QB savant? You mean actual levelheaded analysis thought K1 played well?
I am so shocked.
I was told by the QB coach savants here that he was meh and are unhappy with his performance.
Glowing praise like this can never be uttered in this thread because we all know K1 needs to be replaced for this team to succeed. (He scrubbed his instagram and plays cAlL OF dUTeEZ)
No but you think you are.Michael Baca is a QB savant?
We must share that trait then because you are equally vocal. No but you think you are.
I'll take a bong hit to thatsorry - and you know im not a murray apologist- but my man on the road in a early game did more than manage he held it together - the frustration we saw on the sideline was normal - kyler sitting - looking angry as hell but it didn't translate to mistakes on the field
the crowd was nuts - the o-line was ass - and the saints kept marching in - not only that but rattler kept the pressure on - props to that dude on a good game - thankfully kyler was up for the task
missed some key passes but not throwing it directly to the other team was huge - i was low key waiting for the kyler blunder deep in our own territory or in the dreaded redzone- he ran out of bounds but he didn't inexplicably jump in the air and make panic throws - and chill on the blind side play action sack - nobody has eyes in the back of their head
road win - failed at the 2 minute drill but didn't make the typical mistakes at the end allowing our defense to some how some way hold on
The sack at the end of the game was unforgivable. They were playing for field position at that point. If they got the 1st down, great. Game over. But if not, the worst thing he could do was turn the ball over. The second worse thing would be to run backwards.
He was clearly looking for a dump-off pass on 3rd and 4. It wasn't there yet as our OL couldn't hold up (shocker). Just step into the pocket and if the read isn't there, get close the gap to the original LOS and possibly wriggle through a gap. Or take a knee!!! Don't gift the Saints 15 yards by trying to extend that play!
But somebody is supposed to see that when they line up and move the back to the other sideFrom snap to sack: under 4 seconds.
The issue wasn't the O-line, but the decision to line up Conner to Kyler's right, where he couldn't pick up the blitz.
And Klyler can't read a defense. From snap to sack: under 4 seconds.
The issue wasn't the O-line, but the decision to line up Conner to Kyler's right, where he couldn't pick up the blitz.
Im sure you know more than Kurt way over there across the pond. This is freaking hilarious.
1. It says once
2. Kyler made like 4 attempts over 10 yards. Which one exactly do you think his WR was bumped on?
3. How do you think this changes anything?
You mean actual levelheaded analysis thought K1 played well?
