There was a mandatory trip to Costa Rica for the cheerleaders, that involved wealthy sponsors being promised access to the cheerleaders. The team took the cheerleaders ID/passports, forced them to participate in a topless photoshoot (Where the sponsors had behind the scenes access), and go on individual "dates" at a night club with wealthy team sponsors that had bought "premium packages". They didnt actually have to sleep with the clients, but still beyond wrong. The cheerleaders werent paid a dime for any of their work during this trip. It took a while to come out because the Redskins used to force their cheerleaders to sign NDAs when they joined the team.

It happened in 2013 and became a story 7 years before Snyder was forced out. It got pinned on a yes man a few rungs down the ladder, it had nothing to do with Snyder's exit.
