They have Walmart money. Mikey has Casita money. Why can Denver move on from a 200M contract and we can’t ?
To note , the Broncos are the AFC #1 seed after moving on.
Then sell the team if you can’t play with the big boys and stop making us support a team that “ can’t” compete. They have Walmart money. Mikey has Casita money.
I think if the Cards hire a mid tier coach he'll do everything he can to force his way outta here.
No sense in being a bridge QB for Jeff Hafley (or whoever else isnt top tier). That could be a career killer.
Only way he stays if they hire the Harbaugh to his Alex Smith.
Unless the chosen HC really wants Kyler (and I don't think that would impact the candidate selection), I think moving on sooner vs later will be the priority for both parties.
Maybe Kyler gives us .500 record, which puts us drafting in teens in 2027. I hate watching this team lose, but 7-10, or 8-9 may be even worse: no playoffs, and options of top QBs in the draft will be gone. I've watched this team for 50 yrs, most of seasons were an absolute abomination, what's one more, maybe we get lucky with a drafted QB for the first time ever.I agree - I will say one more thing and then be quiet about it.
Kyler gives a first year HC the opportunity to go .500 in the first year.
A rookie (unless Mendoza) or Brisset in this division, we will be looking at 12-14 losses again.
I want to win more than I hate Kyler for one more year.

The history of the Cardinals is taking 1st rounders that scouts think will sign the smallest contract. Then sell the team if you can’t play with the big boys and stop making us support a team that “ can’t” compete.
Exactly what all the experts were saying about 2026. The Steelers planned to draft their QBOF at the 2026 draft they are hosting. Now they all acknowledge they're far too out of it to even trade up. You and others are pretending to know what next year will bring. You don't. It's all hope. The only guarantee is if we keep Kyler, we ain't going nowhere.Agreed but one additional piece of information - 2027 is going to be stacked with QB's.
That is the year to trade up to get your guy - there will be plenty of talent and guys with a lot more starting experience.
We shouldn't pay another team to take Kyler (period).
If we can't get the trade we want, then Kyler becomes the bridge QB for the new HC in 2026.
2026 - Dead cap is $54M
2027 - Dead cal is $7M
We can live with this for one more year

Rightfully murdered. It would be vintage Cardinals to keep this lame duck. Addition by subtraction.I got murdered 3 months ago for suggesting this.
The fan base is done for better or worse.

I just heard a guy who equated the Lamar / Monken not speaking for months dynamic to Kliff and Kyler in 2022.Yeah like I said, the fan base is done with Kyler for better or worse.

FYI: Jordan Love makes $55 million a year to get delay of game penalties of tak
Or how about calling a timeout with 12 minutes left in the 3rd qrtr, 3rd and 21 from midfield, just to avoid a five yard delay of game.FYI: Jordan Love makes $55 million a year to get delay of game penalties after timeouts.
Nah, word up here is he will make enough in his NIL to go after a National Championship. Had he won, he would have done pro, but he hated the way things ended against Indiana. He probably is a Jets either way!Even college QBs are choosing school over poorly ran franchises.
We are a dog crap franchise
