The only real reason he is part of the problem is he is eating up 19% of the cap. At half that he is fine.

Nahhh his play isn't elevating anyone on this team ever! Which is bad. Especially for someone of his supposed caliber. He's supposed to be our Josh Allen and he is realistically our version of Tua without the concussions. . lol Its kind of sad. He openly admits to and clearly doesn't study like he should. Just runs the plays that are called. He's def more than just a money problem. He may be JUST adequate on a team with more talent MAYBE. But he is part of the problem.

Please.... It's a team game not JUST a QB game. For the season YPA Brissett is at 7.0 and over 95.6 QB rating. Kyler is at 6.0 YPA and an 88 QB rating. Kyler had the luxury of playing when the team was healthier. He made Wilson who is clearly an NFL caliber WR pretty much invisible. Which is a crime. Kyler wouldn't look downfield to save his life or stand tall in the pocket. He wasn't capable of it. He plays scared.

It is still not good enough but it is a stark difference. Definitely not worth the cap hit

And when Murray came in the final 8 games of 2023 it was the exact opposite. Multiple guys on the line hurt, ect...
This is not a small sample size in regards to the NFL.
There are a bunch of advanced analytics out there around QB play and they all have Kyler mid and Brissett below average. The wins reflect it.
