Quotes by coaches are always really interesting. If it’s something we like to hear, it is gospel. When it’s not something we care to hear, it’s coach speak.

Gannon isn’t the type to air things out via the media so everything he says is very positive and paints a rosy picture as if this team should be 10-4 right now.

Saying Hurts & especially Baker are basically the same height as Kyler the funniest thing I’ve seen in a minute. Baker damn near has an 4 inch difference in that pic lmao.
Wtf is you talking about 4 inches of height you buggin. That means he would be towering over him. Jalen hurts towering over him to huh wipe your screen something messed up on your end

Maybe Andy Ried can try and fix Kyler, ease Pat back and then flip a fixed Kyler in the 2027 off season

Kyler doesnt play defence. What a disingenuous post from Odegard. This defence has been giving up +/- an average of 30 points a game since Brissett started versus Dallas.

Different QB, different game plan and different offensive flow. With Kyler, it's was slower and more run focused and kept the defense off the field longer, limiting the other team early. With JB, it's a more passing first offensive game with shorter drives as far as time, giving the other team more opportunities with the ball.

Cards rank 9th in TOP, and have more TOP than 2024 season. They throw more because JB can actually operate an offense.

Where did I say anything about TOP? I said number of possessions. Two very different things.

And this is not a reflection on either QB, it's a reflection on the offensive gameplan. We also don't have any competent RBs to have a run first game. Conner is obviously more important that we could had imagined.

With Murray they had Conner and Benson running the ball.

Your first mistake was using Chat GPT. That wasnt what I used. Should try using Google as it cobbles stuff better.

"Everything that we've asked of him, he's went above and beyond," Gannon said. "If you watch the tape, you know why I'm convicted. But it's not only the tape at that position. The other things that he brings to the table as a person, as a teammate, as a competitor, I absolutely love. Saddle me up; let's go. Just from a standpoint of respect and love and care and developing that relationship with him we kinda like hit it off. So feel really good about where he’s at and where he wants to go."

"You couldn't ask for a better — what he's doing on the field, off the field, what he's doing for his game to improve his game, what he's doing for the offense leadershipwise, what he's doing for the team leadershiopwise," he said. "He's a sounding board for me. We have good candid conversations about what needs to get done and how do we get that done and I put a lot of expectation on him and he's been fulfilling all of it."

You do realize this started with you calling him intellectually LAZY.

My responses have been that intellectually lazy isnt the issue (at least according to the new regime)

He did himself no favors how he conducted himself early on his career. So if that lingers for you then ok.
There’s literally ZERO mention of film or study in any of those comments. Congrats on failing to prove your thesis.

Some players get worse it happens. Maybe Russell Wilson just stopped watching film. Same for Tua.

You're right
No direct quote, but these recycled articles that were posted here it was easy to see what he was talking about?
Some of the earlier AI stuff was from this

JG saying narratives are wrong, he's done everything we asked off the field, he's went beyond what they asked. Its possible none of that has anything to do with film study. JG could have been talking about weightlifting. Or maybe he was lying.

I really dont care. If its a better narrative (or reality) that he never matured enough to take film seriously have at it.
Sometimes it’s easier to just say, “I was wrong. I have no idea if the narrative supported from evidence of earlier in his career is accurate and he doesn’t put in film study.”

Kyler is a Cardinal until he isn’t. He and the Cardinals will have to work hand in hand to find him a new home.
I don’t think Kyler wants to stay here as a backup to Brissett or a rookie.
Don’t say that could never happen. Bidwill is not going to pay him a gazzilion dollars for nothing.
I believe Kyler’s agent is already been in touch with a couple of teams already.
Has anybody mention Miami as a possible landing spot?
