Its not surprising to me, but it sure is to many here who still think our 1-6 backups is a better option to win. He is, but to get the #1 pick! ;) Kyler won't get many more wins, but he'll have a couple of games that he'll play like the Kyler that gives us momentary hope and making this thread explode all over again.
Conveniently ignoring what JB has done in this offense v what Kyler did in this offense. But stan away and hang your hat on 2 wins v 1.

to be clear: this isnt to say that Kyler needs to be back.

It is a post to say that regardless of the aesthetics, JB isnt producing as well as Kyler did. Neither has been good enough.

I've got it. This will make everyone happy. We use K1/JB like the Saints used Brees and Hill.
Short yardage or running plays its Murray. 3rd and long, bring in JB. Change it up occasionally to keep the defense guessing and there ya go...

Feel free to reference my screen name...I've heard it before..LOL

Let Murray play some TE and special teams also.

Mabey Tiny End, but we could use some speed on special teams, the cards could make another bizarre record with the most expensive special teams player in NFL history...LOL
Kyler kind has a booty, so this name doesn't work!

*do not, and I mean it, do not search "Kyler Murray butt"!

And the shadow games begin

Wonder if Kyler “never again” meant:

- never again will we have to watch Mighty Mouse lob a yolo pass to the other team
-never again will we have to endure his sub par qb passing attack
- never again will we see him in the fetal position 15 yards back in a red birds uniform
- never again do we have to watch the master choke artist throw another season down the drain

Time to go, don’t care if what is in the future is worse at this point as long as we are taking a shot to try and improve. Our ceiling is a middle of the road team that just misses the playoffs with Kyler.

Gonna go one of two ways with nothing in the middle:

1. Kyler leaves and balls out with another team and Gannon gets fired. Leaving behind the Same Old Sorry Ass Cardinals as the problem.

2. Kyler was in fact a black cloud over the Gannon Cards. He’s retained despite the losing and they win 11 games next year.

Polymarket probably puts odds around 65% for option 1 and 35% option 2.

Certainly possible

More likely:

Kyler goes and is the mid-range QB he is now, goes 8-9
And, Gannon and staff still suck, winning 4 games next year.

1000%

It was clear to me we should have moved on from Kyler last offseason and we waited a year too long and this idiotic franchise is going to do the same thing with Gannon/Monti but this time, it will have even worse repercussions because those morons will be picking the next QBOTF as well, likely spiking not just next season, but future seasons as well.

Did the cap implications make them stick with him? Or was it the fact that the organization still thought K1 was the franchise qb (their words)?
