Johnny Venerable on the live show just now.

Cardinals and Kyler both want a divorce. Expect lots of stuff/leaks during the offseason.
Venerable is a moron, but there’s no doubt that Kyler deserves better. We have always been & will always be a cursed & inept franchise. At least while we’re owned by a Bidwill.

Watch the Cards blast Murray in the off-season and kill any trade value they may have.
He has no trade value right now. They need to give the impression that he’s worth a sixth round pick to anyone who will pick up his contract.

Expect this to be handled in the most ham-fisted way imaginable.

Without doubt.

Kyler deserves nothing but derision for being an awful leader, anything but a student of the game, and an at best average QB.

This has always been the problem. Kyler doesn’t deserve anything. He has always needed to earn it but never has been open to that concept. It’s why he didn’t buy into Kliff. It’s why he believed his Bruce Lee nonsense. It’s why he big timed his HC. It’s why he is a crap leader and communicator. It’s why he just runs the plays that are called. Dude runs from accountability faster than he runs from defenders.

What can he really say?

He gave the guy 200+ million & now Kyler gets another chance on a different team while Bidwill continues to field a loser front office.
Again we disagree on only about one thing. But Monti isnt the problem. Its this coaching staff & K1's inability to be available/close.

Kyler deserves nothing.

Kyler has some of the worst work ethic of any QB in the league evidenced by his regression the past few years under two coaching regimes. Hes a gifted athlete that doesn’t possess the requisite intelligence or game preparation. He’ll get another chance elsewhere but likely won’t succeed.

Imo Bidwill is going scorched earth on Kyler and it will end with him being cut.

Bidwill has zero option in this. The coaching staff bet their jobs that K1 was the issue. Now the whole NFL knows that wasn’t the case. K1 will be a starter next year. BPB will never get another OC job and JG might be fired at the end of this season.

The Cards will continue to be ran by hillbillies out of Paradise Valley.

Hear me out.
If we fire Gannon it’s very possible a new head coach and OC could believe they could win with Kyler. Thus ending the “ salary cap implication” conundrum.
This off season we spend every dime we have loading up on o-line, another Rb, a speed receiver and yes a QBOTF.

In no way am I suggesting this is the way to go. I’m sick of watching Kyler. But boy, this make sense. Easier to eat Gannon and his staff salary than pay Murray mucho bucks to leave.

I tried to like Gannon but his game decisions have cost us 2-3 games. Our special teams (coach?) has cost us a couple of games. Our o-line coach is atrocious. If Gannon goes so does Petzing.

Does this make any sense or am I just numb from all the losing?

“Deserves?” I kinda feel like this franchise and Kyler DESERVE each other. Poor effort, lack of self awareness, pouting, injury-prone, el foldo goes nicely with stupid organizational decisionmaking, poor facilities, and egomaniacal ownership. Like peanut butter and jelly . . . if the sandwich had been sitting outside in the Arizona sun for four months.
