80% completion rate on a record 47 completions, and not sacked once, with 7.9 YPA. We out TOP'd the Niners 34 to 26.

You have to try real hard to lose a game with QB stats like that.

If we could have JB's passing with an actual run game (Bam Knight truly is a practice squad RB), we might have a chance. Oh, and some defense.

What is your point with this post BritCard? Are you saying Jacoby "BBQ" Brissett is our QBOTF?

If so, he needs to protect the ball a little better than he's done in the past two games.

I'm saying he's playing well, and broke the the all time NFL passing record for a game.

You can hardly blame 2 failed blitz pickups and a wrong route on JB. But even if you want to, he's playing well.

Are people really trying to suggest he isn't? If Kyler threw for 450 (something he's never done despite plenty of games down multiple scores) the Stans would be screaming it's not Kyler's fault.

His QBR has been in the 20s the last couple of games.
However, we had trouble statpadding last year when blown out so there's something to that.

Johnny Venerable says Kyler is indeed healthy. The IR was just a cover for the soft benching.
ive said this since gannon named brissett the starter while saying kyler could play a limited roll

when the only thing kyler can do that brissett can't is run - meaning kyler was indeed healthy

i said kyler refused to back up brissett and told the team he wanted to be traded

i said this because of what gannon said (and tried not to say) in that presser

kyler hasn't accepted any of this - he's pissed - he will want to be released not traded because his career now depends on where he ends up

He making a lot of accusations today, but nothing in the last 72 hours that specifically says that. This is the closest.

But him and Mike are going at it.

#1 CB out, #2 Edge Rusher out, defensive captain and ILB out, but we're mostly healthy!

He said it last night on Cards postgame show.

There's no definitive if it was the organization, Kyler's team or both agreed this was best. Either way he said he's healthy and its a soft benching.

And “Johnny Venerable” would definitely know!

Also helps that Bo Brack who is on the show sees practice every day. And Kyler looked healthy. They have sources telling him inside the building that Kyler is healthy, etc etc.

Again its PHNX so its not worth making a thread about it, but they said that was the case.

I would say they'd trade with us, but the fact they gave up their 1st round pick to the Rams and need picks.

Much respect to JB. He's fearless. Very steady.

Has said all the right things. Carried himself very well. Greatly exceeded expectations.

I hate myself because my heart will not let me pull for him under any circumstance (I'm like some jilted adolescent FFS). If K1 is cut or traded that should break Murray's spell on me but right now I'm in a living hell.

Whoa, whoa, whoa… who exactly is our #1 CB because when 21 was injured, all I was hearing was that we were starting our back-up CBs? And if you’re going to say Johnson is our #1 CB, well, you draft a guy who’s knock on him was injury concerns and… he gets injured a lot, you don’t get to cry foul.

And who is the #2 edge rusher that was out?

Yesterday we had Robinson, Campbell, Cleveland DT, Sweat, 25 (man, my memory ain’t what it used to be), Nolen and even a BJ Ojulari sighting with Melton/21 starting at CB who most here thought would be starters with Buddah and Thompson. For this late in the season, that’s A LOT of who you were going to depend on for the D and we still stunk on ice.
