Eh. I think we came into this season feeling good that Kyler could regain where he was. As you and others have relentlessly said, Kyler isn’t the only problem and maybe isn’t even the MAIN problem with the Arizona Cardinals.

But he is the most visible problem. MOJG did everything they could to Kyler-proof the roster and that’s either impossible or they’re not good enough.

Unfortunately, Kyler was so bad before his injury that he’d already cratered his trade value to anyone who realistically assessed the situation. Then Brissett came in and showed how little Kyler was contributing to the functioning of the offense and also may be dragging it down. So what can they do?

JG said Kyler was our starter when healthy and everyone got all mad at him.
Is this the new cover for an inept organization?

Nothing had been cratered.

Unfortunately the Cards went to a guy that has done less than K1 and thought he would put wins on the board.

All they had to do is play K1 when healthy and trade him after the season. Not a single GM in the NFL respects the Cards organization. We are a joke of an organization. There will be plenty that think they can rehab K1. They just won’t have to trade for him.

Yeah I’m just not sure on the bolded. These coaches aren’t dumb; they knew how close they were to winning those games. I don’t think they thought Brissett would put wins on the board as much as operate a functional offense.

I really disagree that plenty think they can rehab Kyler. Who wants to invest in him? When was the last time he had to compete for a job and won?

For the "Brissett isn't playing that well" people. If you took the average from his 4 games, over a 17 game season it would equate to.

4751 yards
34 TDs
4 INTs
4 rushing TDs
99.6 passer rating
7.35 YPA

That's similar Carson Palmer's 2015 season.

I’ve been saying something like this since that date I witnessed it in person among the Cheeseheads. The worst part is, I didn’t blame Kyler. It was not his fault. But he was not mentally strong enough to handle it. Everything went downhill from there. He is a brilliant athlete. But he doesn’t have it between The ears. I wanted so much for him to succeed.

I can’t believe how a smart team like the Vikings butchered their QB situation so bad. I guess we’re not alone.
Idk how smart they, or at least Kwesi, is.

Look at his draft record since he took over. That is Keim-level, maybe even worse.

Good thing is they could be the #1 Kyler suiter.. had interest before and if JJ keeps playing like this doubt they are interested in another RC
