Honestly that summarizes what we’re saying here with little new information.

I still think it’s possible someone comes along and tells Michael what he wants to hear: Kliff and Gannon screwed up on Kyler Murray; give me a chance and I’ll get him back to a double-digit winner and Pro Bowler.

Michael would much rather pay three coaching staffs than Kyler.
Nah, I think he wants the little guy gone, too.

Spinning our wheels waiting to see if he can "be the guy" is no future, especially after 7 years of frustration.

Bidwill will pay two coaching staffs and one QB moving forward.

Horrible contract on many levels. Wasn't earned and is difficult to get out of without costing the team a bunch. We got worked on that because of desperation for a QBOTF.

I think we're at the spot the Broncos were in with Russ Wilson as their QB. Horrible contract and underperforming QB. QB got axed at a high cost for the team. Found a young hungry QB and are what - 17-10 since pulling the trigger and getting away from Wilson.

Yeah but they have Sean Payton, not JG
We could have.

I bet Sean would have jettisoned Kyler as quickly as possible and gone after his own QB.

JG too much of a yes man. "Golly, Kyler is our guy and we're so happy to have him." (All the while feeling unfairly tied to the previous regime's QB)

The worst part is Bo Nix is beyond awful this year. Vance Joseph is carrying that team while the offense does nothing. If Bo keeps this up he's not going to be extended.

This is total conjecture.

Come on, we have zero idea how this all would have played out with SP. Plus he didn't come here and no one knows why guaranteed.

Rank these mystery QBs:

QB A) 58% 831 yards 3 TD 3 INT 0-3 team record

QB B) 58.6% 869 yards 7 TD 2 INT 1-4 team record

QB C) 60.9% 1,118 yards 8 TD 1 INT 1-3 team record

QB D) 65.1% 1216 yards 6 TD 5 INT 2-3 team record

QB E) 68.3% 962 yards 6 TD 3 INT 2-3 team record

QB F) 61.6% 2069 yards 13 TD 8 INT 2-6 team record.

No cheating looking at the players names, just rank in order of their play this year. Team record was only for games they started or played majority of, but stats are for the entire season.
C, E, F, B, D, A

I will say, despite MHJ being a disappointment and the Kyler experiment ending, I have no retrospective desire for us to have drafted JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix, or Bo Nix at #4 in 2024.

Those guys aren't any good.

I read an article today saying Gannon should be fired today because he publicly benched Murray for JB and then the result was a blowout where JB gave up 2 TD's on fumbles.

I don't necessarily agree but I think what's interesting is by putting Kyler on IR, he can't play for 4 games, so the next time he could play in a game is the 13th game. If they have any plan at all to showcase him for a trade the 5 games they have are the Rams twice, the Texans, the Bengals and the Falcons. 3 of those 5 are against 2 of the best defenses in the NFL, Rams and Texans. If your plan is to showcase someone to enhance his trade value that says to me you play him against Falcons or Bengals or both.

But now because he's on IR, you have no viable backup to JB. as i said in the other thread I think that's why we weren't running sneaks yesterday they're afraid JB will get hurt.

I just don't know how we got from there's a role for Kyler on Monday in Dallas to he's not going to play and we're putting him on IR after that game?

Or would we have had Kyler chuck another pathetic pick-6?
Whatever we feel about Kyler, I am glad he wasn't out there yesterday. Someone said JB got demolished by their D. Can you imagine what they would have done to Kyler? Whatever trade value he had would have been gone.

I keep hearing this and I do not feel it is true.

That's why I see no harm in shutting him down and letting him "get healthy wink wink" on IR.

Kyler is who he is. If other teams don't know who he is - there are 7 years of film on him.

Playing him or not playing him is not going to hurt any trade value. If someone has seen him and they think they can get more out of him, they'll make a move for him. If they don't, they won't. Period.

Except they likely wouldn't have blitzed like that - because they have smart coaches, they designed a defensive game plan around an immobile QB that likes to hold onto to the ball too long with a slow release.

You mean a QB capable of going through their progressions?

If you don't that pass rush wouldn't have killed Kyler, I don't know what to tell you.that

Brissett didn't have a chance behind the Cardinals offensive line. I don't think any of us would want to be behind the Cardinals offensive line.

K1 is done playing here.
Its over. The next time we see him as QB will be for another team.

Total pooch screw by JG and MO. It is reminiscent of when Whiz cut Matty L a week before the season started.
Totally cutting off his nose to spite his face.
