I remember when people blamed K1 for blowing 4th quarter leads.

Ball in the hands of JB again at the end of the game and can’t score.
Sweet ball he threw out of bounds to a wide open Marv though, gotta give him credit for that.

The offense was still way more consistent with Jacoby than it has been with Kyler, and this was the best defense we've faced all year.

People taking this as a victory for Kyler are going to be Jets fans next season. Kyler will not be the starter in Arizona next year. If Kyler isnt starting for the Jets or Steelers he will be a backup.

Kyler will be the starter after the bye, but hes not going to show enough to keep his job.

Most of us agree Kyler needs to go somewhere that designs the offense to his strengths. Glad the O looked "consistent" in yet another loss.

This is the same thing Justin Fields fans say every time he fails. So much imaginary rushing upside, even though he can't throw even close to on time. There is no offense that can function with a QB that voluntarily sits down instead of stepping up, making the throw, and taking the hit.

Kyler turns pressures into sacks on plays where statues like Stafford and Flacco would have a 30 yard gain.

Kyler is by far the worst starting QB in the NFC West.

My man we aren’t winning at all.

I like JB as a backup but he will never win you ball games.

This whole thing is now a disaster.

Are you comparing Kyler to Fields?

Okay, fine. Brissett maybe tightened up a little at the end. That's to be expected 602. He's a back up for a reason.

But there are two things I hope K1 was watching today:

1. How JB absorbed some contact to make some plays.

2. How Brissett took some shots down the sideline even though they were 50/50 balls. K1 can throw that same ball. He just needs to trust his receivers.

Murray needs to be tougher. Mentally and physically.

If he wants those guys to play hard for him, he needs to play hard for them.

You don’t want your QB absorbing hits.

You want to keep him upright. Watch the Steelers this year with Rodger’s compared to the Jets last year.

He is actually able to have a good pocket and not get killed like he was in NY.

We will move on from K1 and everyone else but he will do well somewhere else like most people that leave this crap franchise.

KM can't absorb the hits Jacoby took today, he's just not built for that. Jacoby is a tank compared to KM. Agree that KM needs to be tougher mentally but I'm not sure he can be.

Im just curious what you think Kyler's strengths are. Besides Fields I cant think of a starting QB that is worse at throwing the football. I guess Bryce and Tua as well.

Watching a Kyler led offense is so painful. I dont like watching him constantly check it down before pressure arrives or the routes develop. I hate watching our WRs have to wait for the football because Kyler can't hit them in stride. I hate watching him sit down for a sack on plays where he still had time to get the ball out. Him constantly breaking plays out of fear results in good things like 1/8th of the time.

I understand, and agree you don't want your QB1 taking as much punishment as did Jacoby today. They won't last the season, no way.

And obviously the pass blocking is an issue.

Six sacks for GB today against the less mobile Brissett, including the strip sack for the costly TO. We've got to fix the oline in the offseason.

But K1 has got to find a little more balance between protecting himself, and giving himself the opportunity to make a play downfield (in my opinion).

I'm not saying K1 should be expected to take all the shots JB did today. No way!

I don't think any QB makes it more than 8 games getting hit the way Brissett was today.

I'm just saying it's pretty clear K1 is very adverse to getting hit, and I just don't see how that could possibly play well in the locker room.

Sliding to avoid taking a big shot? Fine. But the falling down in the pocket to avoid a hit is going to start getting questioned. You can believe that.
