This exemplifies all my frustrations with Kyler and Petzing this year.

Anyone still defending and/or driving the K1 brigade is either a relative, his mom, or his girlfriend, cuz his play on the field doesn't deserve it .

Lamar Jackson has Greg Roman as his OC. Struggles to throw for 3000 yards his last 3 years and 18 tds his last two years. No team wants to trade for him. They hire Todd Monken.

Justin Herbert is efficient, but Greg Roman's gameplan comes apart in the playoffs again.

Kyler hasn't earned the right to be on Lamar and even Herbert's level. I'm just saying its easy to tell early if there is an absolute ceiling on a QB/OC combination.

Jim is going to have to change OCs if Herbert is to ever reach his potential.

Bateman was the number one before Flowers and proved he couldn’t carry the spot. Last year was Zays rookie year and this year proved he is the one.

Who cares what talking heads say watch the games.

Lamar has always been great despite what fans think here.

Bateman and Flowers are absolutely an elite duo in the League only behind Cincinnati and Minnesota. In any other offense they would be top two if not 1.

No that just gets K1 to .500. Herbert would have to go about .500. but come on man nobody can compare those twos stats side by side and say K1 is better at anything than JH. Not even running the ball because K1 doesn't do it enough to make it a huge factor.

If Murray could learn to optimize his ability to impact games with his legs (maybe DP is a factor here too), especially in critical situations, he could eclipse Herbert on the QB power rankings chart.

Oh wait Herbert is tall and has an amazing arm that throws the prettiest incompletions you will ever see.

After throwing 4 picks with 2 of them for TDs in a playoff game no less I don’t know how many will say Herbert is a lock over K1.

We will see if Harbaugh keeps Herbert. I’m guessing he wont long term.

We would be grilling Herbert hard after meh playoff performances & being on the opposite end of a 27 point comeback after the opposing QB threw 4 INTs —and— a 4 INT game. Neither are ALL his fault, but yea, let’s be real.

I think Gannon and Harbaugh will take similar approaches and see if next year, they can get their QB over the hump in these situations, if not, they move on. Peyton Manning had the choker reputation until he played under Dungy, if I recall, so some coaches may think this may be a fixable issue.

K1 is not a .500 QB. He's nine games below that mark. JH has thrown for over 4000 yards once, over 4500 yards once, and 5000 yards once. K1 best year is 3900 yards. JH has 137 TDs with 45 ints. K1 has 115 and 57 ints. It's not even close.

Not its way beyond that for some. You will at least criticize K1 when he plays bad. Some make outlandish claims, and TBH I think some do it but don't believe what they are typing, or don't want to admit they are possibly wrong about him

And rightly so. They both suffer from the problem. They can put up big numbers when the lights aren’t the brightest and shrink when the pressure is on.

I think Harbaugh will have way less patience but he can also spot QB talent later in the draft. Don’t think that is something that JG or MO can do.

I just hope the Cards come out firing next season so we won’t have to have this conversation again. Winning cures lots of issues.
