Krause is stepping down because of "Health Reasons"

More likely it is because the only thing that is more of a joke than the Bulls is you Jerry Krause.

Anyway, listen to this asinine comment from Jerry Reinsdorf:

“Jerry Krause is one of a kind. He brought with him a vision of how to build a champion and he proceeded to create one of the most dominant champions of all time. No basketball fan in America can begin to imagine the World Champion Chicago Bulls without his imprint. There would not have been a Coach Phil Jackson. There would not have been Scottie Pippen, Bill Cartwright, Dennis Rodman, or a host of others who wore Bulls uniforms during those championship seasons. He creatively surrounded the best player in the world, Michael Jordan, with the kind of talent to be a consistent and exciting winner.

These two jackrags are in so much denial it isn't even funny. Sorry when I think of the Championship Bulls, I don't REMOTELY think of Jerry Krause. And when I do think of the Championship Bulls and Jerry Krause, I think...that's the guy that screwed it up for Chicago. Even here, they marginalize the players rolls in the championship. Yeah Krause surrounded Micheal with winning guys like Luc Longley.

The worst is "Without Jerry Krause, there would not have been a Coach Phil Jackson."

Yeah cause Phil never would have been a good coach without you two....

What a great general manager. Who else could break up a dynasty, alienate Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen, create the worst season turnaround of all time(I think the only remaining player after the championship years was Toni Kukoc) and sign Eddie Robinson for way too much money. He has many more delightful moves, but these are just off the top of my head.

Anyway, there are some general manager spots open. Hawks, Bulls and Wizards(sort of) will all for sure have new GMs, and I can very easily see it happening for Portland(see Allen's recent comments) and the Knicks(Chris Rock said the Knicks would sign A-Rod if they could).

Of course, he's also got 6 titles to his credit. So he did something right some time.

Hmm. Any thoughts on who the Bulls might want as their next GM?

Is anyone retiring from the game soon that could fill that role?

HMMM.
