Knicks @ Suns Friday game thread 5-7-2021

[Mainstreet]

The Suns return home for one game on Friday against the Knicks before hitting the road again for two more games.

They play at the Lakers on Sunday and the Warriors on Tuesday.

There are six games left in the season.

Knicks are 37-29 and most recently lost to the Nuggets. They are 8-2 in their last ten games.

Suns fall to 47-19 after their loss Wednesday to the Hawks. They are 7-3 in their last ten games.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona.

Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Arizona time.

Randle has gained some publicity as a long shot for MVP based on the Knicks turnaround and his ascension. He's putting up superstar numbers as well. I really hope Ayton shows up for the challenge because I'd rather not see Randle drop 50.

Randle is averaging 24, 10, and 6 for the season. I never thought he'd put up stats like that on a competitive team. He's also hitting 42% from 3 on 5 attempts a game.

Jae Crowder remains OUT and Cam Johnson is QUESTIONABLE for Knicks game.

It's like pick your poison. A higher seed and hopefully a lesser opponent or a lower seed and a tougher opponent.

The latter seems more realistic looking at the Suns schedule.
