Same here. I'm still glad we resigned him but I like the 2 year deal a bit more already.

I'll give the Suns credit for fighting throughout. It didn't seem to matter that they were down, they kept playing hard. Hield is on fire and Monty should have Bridges on him to try and cool him down but Booker did try his best. Booker's best looks better than it has in the past also, which is something. He might just be able to be average on D if he can stay engaged.

Ayton needs the ball more. Let Rubio & Ayton run the P&R throughout the 3rd and hit others for open 3's.

Our four non-Ayton starters are 10-30. That stinks. Zero free throws for Ayton. Also stinks. I can’t tell what our offense is because it doesn’t look designed to get good looks for our best players. Booker can’t play D. Shocked only down 5.

I’d put bridges or Carter on Hield the whole second half. Make him feel this game. Problem is hiding booker in Barnes - he’ll just take book into the post and punish him. It’s tough when he’s really a subpar defender.

I like the defense and the passing. Our problem is really just our shooting. Hopefully it gets better in the second half.

Shooting depends on precision . . . but the Suns haven't had it in 3-point
shooting during the 1st half.

And DBook is being double-teamed on every play. He is wise in not trying
to force it, but he has to somehow become a factor in the 2nd half.

If Rubio could hit some shots, that would help.

I was surprised that Rubio had only four assists in the 1st half.

I haven’t read the thread but I am at the game and I expect this is an unpopular opinion... Oubre brings enthusiasm... he also brings terrible defense and selfish offense. He was our own worst enemy that half.
