that's freaking ugly. He's done very well in FA, but that draft list is like Rod Graves ugly at this point.

Cooper and Niklas pretty much got taken out in year 1 with injuries

Minter looks like a solid player but not a bum by far.

Bucannon is going to be a stud

Humphries hasn't played a down yet come on guys really.

what's Cooper's excuse for year 2?

Minter looks like a solid player but not a bum by far.

there is no metric by which this is true.

Bucannon is going to be a stud

hopefully, but we've never even seen him play major time his actual position.

Humphries hasn't played a down yet come on guys really.

don't care. he's an underachieving RT that we took in the first round when we already have a starter there and have holes elsewhere.

Just sad. Buccannon isn't bad but that 1 for 4. :(

The draft is for the future, not just today. I reserve judgment on all 5. Cooper and minter healthy, it's make it break for them.

What has Minter shown to make the assessment he has been solid?

Agreed. Foote had double the tackles Minter had last year. You want linebackers' names called in games, Minter went whole games it seemed without hearing the PA announcer say his name.

Seems that BASK feel that Humphries will keep Carson Palmer in the game better than Massie.I am surprised by the pick but I can see the logic.Without Palmer Cards could be toast anyway.Don`t see a reason for all the sky is falling drama.Let`s see what happens the rest of the draft.

Keim knows what we seem to have forgotten.
If Carson Palmer plays, we win. If he does not, we probably lose.
Gotta keep him upright.

Buc & DJ will be pretty good players the others were just terrible picks given scheme fit, value & talent.

Lesson to be learned:

1) never draft an OG in the top 20
2) never draft a thumper ILB without speed who can't cover in this day & age of the passing game
3) never draft a limited speed TE in the 2nd round when your offense is predicated on the passing game
4) never continually ignore edge rushers early when you play the 3-4

Not sure we learned any lessons from Niklas when he barely played.

As for edge rushers you have to be in position to draft one. The only way Keim is going to get one is if we have a bad season.

He has drafted about 15 players so far and there have been some late round home runs. Minter is a disaster and Cooper had freak injury he has been unable to come back from. The rest are still to new too grade, but Dion is looking on a solid pick.

If you think Niklas is worth a 2nd rounder I've got some ocean front property in AZ to sell ya:D That kid from the Gophers will be twice the player he is.

Edge rushers? Hogwash...make it happen. We've passed on them (early) like the plague for years & didn't the donkeys just trade in front of us to take one? Not being aggressive for them while playing the 3-4 is a sin.
