The offense has come around to what I and most of us were hoping it would be.

But the defense. I know they have played well. Very well. But as I look back at our opponents we haven’t really played what we call juggernaut offenses.
The Chargers.
The Bears.
The Jets.
Now to be clear, I still think it’s an accomplishment to hold an NFL team without a touchdown.

But I’m putting this question out there. Is this REALLY who we are on defense or is a bit of a mirage?

The answer is simple IMO and I’ve been saying it for weeks: if we get a pass rush, this defense is serviceable. When we can’t dial up the pressure it’s all doom and gloom. I like the personnel we have- just think we need an elite player or 2 to really become top 5 or 10.

I believe there will be a game or 3 where the defense gets smoked like the Packers and Commanders games but I expect our Offense to keep the game competitive.

The defense has for sure improved despite not playing the best offenses. This is not the same defense that played the Redmanders and Packers. Our corners are much improved and the rush has gotten a bit better.

Browing helped flush Rodgers a lot yesterday.
