He should have been shown the door along with JG

Huge fumble by him and another to add to the list

How he kept his job is a mystery
I have to be honest bro. I've seen you and others rail against Kyler for at least the last 5 years about his performance. In game threads etc... You certainly didn't seem happy with him or his performance I should say for a looooong time. Now all of a sudden you think some team was going to pony up assets for a QB as underwhelming as Klyer? Not only wanted someone to trade for him but expected it? Based off what you've watched with your eyes in recent memory? Makes sense. 7 years of tape don't lie. Especially the last 5 which is the epitome of mediocre at best.

FWIW RUMOR - From PHNX today, Petzing lobbied for JB to play over Kyler to unlock the pass game.

Kyler injury flared up again on way to Indy. So they took that as the opportunity to make the change.

JG wanted Kyler to play again last season, but defferred to Drew in the end.

MO tried to trade Kyler last year for a day 2 pick. No one wanted the contract.
Even for the Cardinals, this is super embarrassing. Why on earth would the HC leave a decision like that up to his OC? And why would Monti defer to Petzing about his highest paid player? Just mind numbing incompetence all around.

Yes I feel that way

How many posters are KM guys and believe he's worth a lot and it's all the Cards?

IMO they could have found a way to eat some $ to trade him

They are already eating money

Even with eating $ it still leaves the other team on the hook for around 35 million? You think Kylers worth that to some other team plus draft capitol based off what you've seen the last 5 seasons? Really? Honestly? if yes WOW!

Now that he's gone it's time to move on

He is no longer a member of my favorite team so he's just another player in the NFL

It should have never come to this, how the Cardinals handled the situation with Murray.

I'd think an NFL team would know how to run a RPO "run-pass option," type play when it comes to player personnel.

IMO, that's on the GM.
