100% thisIt should be a fire able offense to not be able to unload Kyler Murray for anything when Malik Willis is about to get $40MM guaranteed.
They've all had good and bad moments.Have the Cardinals ever had a good GM? We hate on Bidwill a lot and he deserves it for hiring such trash GM’s, but is that it? Is that the real curse? The Cards will just always have crappy GM’s?
He should have been shown the door along with JGOnce again, Monti is getting the lowest possible return for his assets. It's what he does best!
This is what we can all hope happensHire a competent HC. Start a competent QB. Invest in the offensive line to protect that QB.
A 7 year QB that got a 2nd contract is the furthest thing from a bust. One of the biggest draft busts in NFL history. So much bluster, so little delivered.
Cards always with zeroThis really sucks, this team now has to pay him big bucks while he's free to go wherever he wants where his next team gets him for pennies. Well played, Kyler.
KM - 1
Cards - 0
I have to be honest bro. I've seen you and others rail against Kyler for at least the last 5 years about his performance. In game threads etc... You certainly didn't seem happy with him or his performance I should say for a looooong time. Now all of a sudden you think some team was going to pony up assets for a QB as underwhelming as Klyer? Not only wanted someone to trade for him but expected it? Based off what you've watched with your eyes in recent memory? Makes sense. 7 years of tape don't lie. Especially the last 5 which is the epitome of mediocre at best.He should have been shown the door along with JG
Huge fumble by him and another to add to the list
How he kept his job is a mystery
Even for the Cardinals, this is super embarrassing. Why on earth would the HC leave a decision like that up to his OC? And why would Monti defer to Petzing about his highest paid player? Just mind numbing incompetence all around.FWIW RUMOR - From PHNX today, Petzing lobbied for JB to play over Kyler to unlock the pass game.
Kyler injury flared up again on way to Indy. So they took that as the opportunity to make the change.
JG wanted Kyler to play again last season, but defferred to Drew in the end.
MO tried to trade Kyler last year for a day 2 pick. No one wanted the contract.

Even with eating $ it still leaves the other team on the hook for around 35 million? You think Kylers worth that to some other team plus draft capitol based off what you've seen the last 5 seasons? Really? Honestly? if yes WOW!Yes I feel that way
How many posters are KM guys and believe he's worth a lot and it's all the Cards?
IMO they could have found a way to eat some $ to trade him
They are already eating money
N to good ol matt hot tub leinartOne of the biggest draft busts in NFL history. So much bluster, so little delivered.
That would be a good thread: "Top Five Draft Busts In Cardinal History"A 7 year QB that got a 2nd contract is the furthest thing from a bust.
It’s not even a top 5 bust in Cards history.
Now that he's gone it's time to move on
He is no longer a member of my favorite team so he's just another player in the NFL
