According to a report from Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jalen Royals has been selected to participate in the NFLPA's Rookie Premiere program.

Royals joined the Chiefs last month as a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft after an illustrious collegiate career with the Utah State Aggies.

Though Royals isn't expected to oust veterans Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, or Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown from the top three spots on Kansas City's depth chart at the wide receiver position, it should come as no surprise that the rookie has drawn attention from the NFLPA.

Take a look at Derrick's initial report about Royals' inclusion in the NFLPA's Rookie Premiere Program:

Chiefs WR Jalen Royals is one of 42 players selected for the NFLPA Rookie Premiere program. The program is designed for “rising stars” to introduce them to business side of football and help them connect with endorsements and other financial opportunities.

In his three seasons at Utah State, Royals racked up 126 receptions for 1914 yards and 21 touchdowns, 15 of which were scored during the Aggies' 2023 campaign.

Stay tuned to see how Royals will fit into the Chiefs' offense next season.
