Down to .847, behind Gerardo Parra.

Last 7 days - hitting .174, only one 2B, no 3B or HR, 4 hits total, no RBI's

Repeat, no RBI's. In fact, no RBI's in JUNE. 1 double. That is it.

Subtract .200 from that and you almost get to Prado. Gritty!

The article proposes the Braves moving JUp from 3rd to 5th in the batting order . . . which is exactly what the D'backs did (to no avail) before giving up on him last year.

Ignorance is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Even if it a different team.

He is potential without substance. Especially with runners on base. And while wearing a glove in the outfield.

This experience with the Braves proves that the D'backs made the right decision to unload him. Whether paired with Chris Young in our outfield or his brother BJ in the Braves outfield, in each case, they dragged each other down.

I'm now at this point. Weary of seeing this thread go on and on.

To quote the great Gene Smith, who showed amazing ambassadorial skills when he spoke to a group of ASU's biggest and most influential boosters after an embarrassing loss to UA:

Get over it.

Maybe we could gift this thread to the Braves forum if we're done?

I agree with the dealing of Upton. I just wish ARZ would have gotten Julio Teheran instead of Delgado which was supposedly what the initial ATL offer was. Delgado will be nothing more than a fringe #5 starter at best. There were rumors that Teheran might have had arm issues but that may have been an ATL ploy to cause ARZ to lose interest in him. Teheran is having a really good year, so much for arm troubles.
