Just moved to Maricopa, AZ

I was wondering what lakes and if there are lakes that i can drive preferably on east side and within 1.5-2 hours away from maricopa. i have a stock 4x4 truck to and would like to park at cove for day for sun and swimming. Would like to take backroads that stock truck can easily go through and end up at a quiet cove for family and i to relax. Thanks in advance

My condolences.

There is a thread here I made about Butcher Jones, if you go there I posted maps and etc but "for a stock truck to easily get to" it depends on your definition of easy. I find it easy, I took other people there and they poo themselves.

every single other lake around is going to be quite a bit further away from you than butcher jones.
