Hold onto the ball, Murray!
I see we're still getting some "Poor wittle Kywer" content here.
Exactly. We’ve had 7 years of excuses for Kyler. Kyler is not the only problem on this team for sure - but the check down king who commits ridiculous intentional grounding penalties on his own 10, routinely misses wide open receivers, who can’t stand in a pocket to save his life - did nothing to help this team this year after what should have been the crescendo performance of his career.I guess that begs the question…Whst DID Kyler do???
I’ve rooted pretty hard for Kyler for 7 years and this feels like the end.
There really shouldn't be any singular finger pointing in this situation. The blame is equally spread between Kyler, SK, Kliff, Monti, JG and Michael, IMO. To me, with how 2021 ended and with his injury, Murray lost confidence and also lost faith in the staff and FO...and I just think any time he got bought into the plan, something negative would happen and set him back. He has serious trust issues with anyone not named Trey or James. He needs a new opportunity.I see we're still getting some "Poor wittle Kywer" content here.
This is kind of what I had predicted in another thread about them trading Kyler at the deadline. It gives Monti and JG an excuse and a new timeline. Smart move by them for their job security.
I'm guessing they'll select Sellers and let him sit behind Jacoby for a year. The only FA of interest would be Mac Jones and why pay him a boatload when/if Brissett keeps producing?
Plenty of blame to go around. Not sure about “equally” when the only constants in this equation are Michael and Kyler. There really shouldn't be any singular finger pointing in this situation. I just assumed he was and had signed a 1 year deal in SF.Mac Jones is not a free agent.
The “sit the rookie” strategy only lasts as long as the next three-game losing streak.

Feel free to divide the blame as you see fit. I'm just giving my own observation.Plenty of blame to go around. Not sure about “equally” when the only constants in this equation are Michael and Kyler.
He needs to grow up. The pouty act, the "I'm out" routines, the gross lack of self-awareness in his game and the unwillingness to try anything different to change, is fatal to his current and future prospects. Yes, there is a lot of blame to go around this organization. Kyler, as the QB that got the bag, is one of the biggest reasons we are struggling now. There really shouldn't be any singular finger pointing in this situation. I’ve said it often before this game. Nolen was exactly what I expected: best Cardinal DT since Swann.
Let’s be honest nobody could win with Kyler Murray at quarterback….especially when you factor in the huge contract Monti had to work around…will never understand why keim took him number one overall being that short…I see we're still getting some "Poor wittle Kywer" content here.
I've often wondered if we picked Bosa at #1, if SF would have taken Kyler at #2.Let’s be honest nobody could win with Kyler Murray at quarterback….especially when you factor in the huge contract Monti had to work around…will never understand why keim took him number one overall being that short…

Garoppolo was out for most of 2018 with a torn ACL (I know he led the Niners to the SB in 2019), but his backups were Nick Mullens and C.J. Beathard. Did Shanahan think he could make an NFL QB out of Kyler?
Quennon Williams would of been the pick my guess
Yes really. I always give you my best opinion. I don’t hold back. If I’m wrong you know where to find me.Really?
Swann was a man amongst boys.

That’s the one wild card in my mind.Well, I wish Swann-2 better health.
