Right, which makes this whole debate silly. The choice is binary. Trump or Biden. A third party vote is essentially a vote for Trump, unfortunately. And Trump is way worse than Biden. You can’t dispute that.

Downloads and viewers are not analogous. How many podcasts does Rogan do in a month?

But Maddow and Hannity also have tv viewership.

    Brutal, but well-deserved:

I don’t even think this is brutal enough.

I'm sure Hannity beats Maddow for television viewers, but that's not a relevant metric. Between the two, I'm a lot closer to Maddow's camp, but I have better things to do than watch talking heads on television try to rile up their supporters. Right-wingers are always going to have a more "devoted" following because their message appeals to baser instincts. You could dismember someone on live television and probably get great ratings, but that wouldn't be indicative of what percentage of the population actually agrees with such carnage.

That's one of the appealing aspects of Rogan's format. Long form conversations where ideas can actually be discussed and not reduced down to 30 second attacks.

Agreed. I don’t watch any of them. But foster is trying to paint Rogan as the most watched thing under the sun and I’m sure he viewership pales in comparison to tv personalities like these.

If you think Maddow's show is "30 second attacks" then you've probably never watched it.

I haven't watched Rachel for awhile but a viewer better be prepared to learn as the show is not about making inflammatory remarks.

It's interesting to watch the dynamics go down in this thread. I'm amazed at how easily someone is called a bigot or a racist. Hatred is hatred. That's the problem with our society - if anyone has a dissenting view, then they are immediately flogged in public. And then the other side retaliates and then "it's on" and "we'll show them."

Bring on the Thought Police next.

Some poster are very reactive. But the majority here back up their reasoning for calling out a poster. You may miss those explanatory posts among the arguments. But the picture you paint isn’t entirely accurate.

I don't disagree with you. Pete, Amy, Kamala, etc. All would have been fine.

But we got Joe. So we're going to ride Joe through the general. And that's that. Ripping him down at this point simply serves Trump.

that's the thing... NONE of us disagree that we could do better than Joe. @Folster makes it seem like we're all burying our heads in the sand and that Biden's an amazing candidate. He's not. PERIOD. ALL of us have said so. Hell, most of us admit Joe's best days are pretty far behind him and that he ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer. But reality is with all that said, he's STILL better than Trump who's f'n crazy, an amoral POS and a freaking racist who cares more about money than people and that's all the ultimately matters.

I like at Joe as a palette cleanser from an awful meal. someone that just wipes the slate clean and reboots the Matrix back to a point where we can then look at what the future holds once we've climbed out of this disgusting and pathetic hole we've dug for ourselves.
