Nothing like a heartfelt bromide when you lose your job.

The by line is the most salient:

Retail giant is among numerous companies that shared tax windfall with shareholders while laying off many workers

Well, duh. The corporation did exactly what it was supposed to do: pass profits onto the shareholders.

And it's only going to get worse as automation takes hold.

That is what MODERN Companies do, since they have been given carte-blanc to ignore the PUBLIC part of their Charters.

Corporations are ruling the country now, and the balance has shifted to far to short-term Shareholder desires.

    1) Stock buybacks used to be illegal. They should be again. They are stock market manipulation and are bad for the country.

    https://mavenroundtable.io/theintel...hy-are-they-legal-now-sHh6HZjtyk2styG-qLgnQg/

    2) Corporations should not be able to donate to political causes. Given corporations personhood, while maintaining the corporate legal bubble, gives corporations and their executives carte blanche to violate laws.

He'll still go to Michigan and say that he's fighting for them, against globalization--look at my tariffs! and other untruths--while assigning blame to the Fed, the Deep State, the Dems... A lot of people will still hear what they want to head, and the Dems need to be prepared for this with an equally compelling message.

Trump’s plan to, sell the future, destroy the environment for a quick buck, make as much money off emoluments, stall on gun control, do just enough to get re-elected con job may be losing steam.

When Trump’s done America will look like the town at the end of High Plains Drifter.
