Jim Harbaugh highlights 12 Chargers players who are ascending

The Chargers have a talented roster heading into the 2025 season, and they will need all hands on deck to have success across the 17-game schedule if they want to make the playoffs and make a deep run.

Players have been hard at work to prepare for the upcoming campaign. There are the notable players who have proven their worth, like Justin Herbert, Ladd McConkey, Khalil McConkey and Derwin James, among others. But some are trending upwards.

At Thursday's media availability, head coach Jim Harbaugh highlighted 12 "ascending" players.

Out of the crop, eight of them are newcomers to the Chargers, so it's encouraging to know that they are getting acclimated to the system and getting the attention of Harbaugh and the rest of the coaching staff.
