O'Neal is an unrestricted free agent after this year and I was wondering if the Suns will go after him? This team would be able to contend for the title with him in the line-up.

And where would the money come from? Jermaine O'Neal would be great to have, but no way in hell it happens.

Don't you have to be under the cap to sign free agents for more than either the veteran minimum or the exemption you have?

yes

the only way would be for us to do a sign and trade, but the cost would be far to high

IMO The Spurs should go after O'Neal instead of Kidd. You know how they love the twin towers. Good job Suns #1 next year not #8. Great year great game.

The thundersticks helped to make the place loud and they are at least a little distracting to the free throw shooters. They were much better than the rally towels in game 3 (which looked really cool with 20,000 waving, but didn't do much to make the place loud).

I liked the thundersticks!!! I was funny seeing Bo and Scott on the video boards banging them around and dancing. :biglaugh:

You sound like this dork at the game last night who was telling people to sit down so he could see the game.. I thought he was going to be taken out in a streacher. I was getting pissed at him too. If you don't want to stand up and chear for your team stay home and watch the game LOOOSER! Sorry Still venting :D

i've been yelled at during suns games for being too loud. that just baffles me. shows that the wrong people are able to afford the good seats.

i would trade everyone on the team except steph and amare for o'neal. parts is parts with the three of them on the court together.

Perfect scenario.
O'Neal tells the Pacers that he is going to sign with San Antonio for the max unless they can work out a sing and trade with a few other teams on his list.
Now if he was interessted in signing with us that would probably be a possibility. What would we have to offer in a sign and trade? Marbury? Marion?

I didn't see the rally towels but I can imagine what they looked like. How about if they crossed the rally towels with the thunder sticks? You could make them out of flexible sheet metal and paint some sort of banner across them. Then people could shake and wave them. And for those who wonder what I'm talking about, have you ever taken a piece of sheet metal and waved/shook it? It sounds just like thunder. Imagine 20,000 people shaking those all at once. It would be awe inspiring!

Of course they would be too heavy and dangerous but the idea is great! :D
