With the NFL season on the horizon, things are about to get much busier for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. As he reports to training camp on Tuesday, balancing football with his hit podcast “New Heights,” co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce, won’t be an easy task.
That’s why the podcast’s season finale is set to release on Wednesday morning, just as the season ramps up. The Kelce brothers had already announced that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield would be a guest, but on Tuesday, they teased another major name joining the finale.
Returning to the show for a second time is legendary actor Adam Sandler, who’s currently promoting the highly anticipated "Happy Gilmore 2," set to premiere on Netflix this Friday. The film includes a cameo by Travis, who developed a friendship with Sandler during the movie’s production.
“We’ve got an incredible episode with @bakermayfield … and he’s not the only special guest,” the New Heights social media team posted.
A teaser clip shows Jason joking, “Ha ha! So Baker Mayfield is not the only guest,” before cutting to a picture frame featuring the Kelce brothers and Sandler. The clip ends with Travis excitedly exclaiming, “The Sand Man!”
