Problem is, nobody is trading for a slow, overaged RB, especially one who starts the season on IR after a season-ending injury last year, AFTER he already appeared utterly cooked.

Yeah it’s hard to imagine anyone giving up even a sixth or seventh round pick without actually seeing James Conner being good on the field.

Yeah, one can argue about the cost, but at least the Cardinals are spending it on a player with heart.

Always was. He turned out to be a good signing for a while. Even so, his injury problems have continued to haunt him. We got juice out of him for a time. That time is over.

I'm sure he's a great guy. He has no business being on an NFL roster. If he's that important, make him the RB coach and keep a player that can actually contribute.

I could see a third down, short yardage, goal line type role once Connor returns. If they need to keep him then get some use out of him; the limited amount of attrition relief he'll provide will be of value.
