Jamal Adams back to the New York Jets?
The player himself isn't against the idea.
Adams, 29, has not played in New York sine he requested a trade following the 2019 season. The former All-Pro safety had a falling out with the team's previous front office led by general manager Joe Douglas.
Adams entered the NFL as a first-round pick of the Jets in 2017. Selected at No. 6 overall at that year's draft, Adams was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2020 and has since spent time with the Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions as well.
Could it now be back to the Jets? Adams wouldn't mind.
That decision depends on New York's current front office led by general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn. But Adams' feelings are known thanks to him revealing that he would return to New York while speaking via ESPN.

"I would love to be back with the Jets and, obviously, finish it the right way," he said Wednesday night in a chat with Jets fans on the social media platform X. "Man, that would be a dream come true, just to patch up that relationship and kind of make it right."
