The New York Giants will be looking for a young quarterback to develop in the 2025 NFL draft. Who that will be and in what round remain to be seen.
The Giants aren't likely to take a quarterback with their top pick (third overall) but could take one on Day 2 or even trade back into the first round to secure their next possible franchise quarterback.
One of those candidates is Alabama's Jalen Milroe, who has formed a mutual admiration with Giants second-year wide receiver Malik Nabers. The two know each other from their college days when Nabers played at LSU.
Nabers has been unbiased on which quarterback the Giants should draft and Milroe appears to like the idea of coming to New York.
Giants general manager Joe Schoen loaded up his quarterback room this offseason with veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, and any rookie he brings in will not be forced to play immediately.
Milroe has had a strong run-up to the draft at both the NFL Combine and in private workouts. Some draft experts believe the Giants will have significant interest in both Milroe and Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss. So significant that they could trade back into he first round to secure the one they wan.
