When I originally saw his injury, I said he should go to short term IR because he will at least miss 2-3 weeks and likely 4. Why eat up a roster spot. Bunch of thumbs down..

Well looks like I had my finger on the pulse after all
Kinda early to take that victory lap after the second game, isn't it?

I don't get the desire to put a guy on IR who's going to miss 1-3 games. IR is for guys who will miss 4+ games. How much better would the Cards be if they used a roster spot for a guy off the street right now?

Not sure but unlikely to be worse.

If he does miss 3 it's whatever

All those people assuring us that Trey Bensons injury was NBD and he’d be back in a jiffy

I mean it's week 12. He cleared the practice window so let's say he plays the last 5. That's not guaranteed but let's say he does and starts.

Right now he has 451 yards rushing and 123 yards receiving with 1 TD over 17 games.

There is zero chance he hits 1000 yards in 22 games. I would be shocked if he hits 850.

Its 2 weeks bro out of 4. If he misses game 3 than it's a clown show here.

4 weeks then the GM is a crayon eater, which we already know based on his drafts
What are you talking about?!? Even if he misses 3 weeks, he should not have been on IR. I have no idea why you are making a big deal out of this.

Even if he misses four weeks, that would be completely unexpected and there's no way Ossenfort should've expected it or put him on IR.

Who here was certain it would be one week?!? Anywhere from 1-3 would be typical. Not IR worthy. This is a weird fetish for you.

There were several people who said he would miss a week and be back.

Your use of the word fetish here is unnecessary. I find this neither sexual or excessive.

You clowns were certain it was 1 week. I worked years in an ER and in the field. Lunacy

Please name the several "clowns" who were "certain" it would be one week!

And regardless... Who cares if it's one week or three... Or even if it turns out, very unexpectedly, to be four? Makes sense NOT to put Harrison on IR unless you're CERTAIN it would be four or more (which would be unprecedented).

Wait a minute....I thought this was the jags v cards thread. When did it turn into the How long will MHJ be out thread.
And what's the deal with all the clown references lately??

The major difference between IR and not, is being able to practice at the team facilities. That alone is enough reason to keep one of your better players on the roster if you aren't sure it is a 4+ week injury.
