The basketball community has been blessed with the Ja Morant shoe line, which, in my opinion, hasn’t missed yet. The Ja 1s were a success—they were everywhere. NBA players, NCAA squads, high school teams, and AAU programs all rocked them. The Ja 2s held their own too. We even saw Morant wearing the upcoming Ja 3s during the playoffs, and while they’re very different from his first two sneakers, I think I like the 3s the most.

AAU season is in full swing, and so is Nike’s EYBL Peach Jam summer circuit. Most teams in EYBL get their own special colorways made just for them, and now Ja Morant has joined that exclusive list of NBA stars with EYBL editions. Kevin Durant just dropped his KD 18 in an EYBL colorway for his Nike squad—Team Durant.

The EYBL version of the Ja 2 features a chrome Swoosh, which we haven’t seen on any previous EYBL models. That detail alone makes this pair stand out, and I’m definitely a fan.

While at first glance I did think these were the Hall of Fame Kobe 5s, I do like the color of these Ja 2s. They give off that gold medal vibe in the Peach Jam tournament that just screams "Yea my squad won."

As the Ja 2 chapter closes and the 3s begin to roll out in new colorways, the question now is: What were your favorite Ja 2 colorways that dropped this year?
