That’s because he did not play much today in favor of Turner/Vallejo from what I saw.

His read on the screen play and then open field tackle a few plays before that was huge too. He was lined up over center and met the ball handler on the sideline like a missile, ripped him down by the legs.

Simmons & Renfrow were teammates at Clemson, maybe he knows were to hit him lol? Joking obviously but I was also getting worried about Simmons confidence, VJ kept taking him out of the game. Great play on the screen several plays earlier & the one causing the fumble.

Biggest hit of the year by far, and still about half the collision he had with Lance. I felt the shot that he put on Lance last year!

I'm a huge Simmons fan. I think he has all of the tools to be great.

I do believe that the coaching staff put too much on his plate this season with little time to work out the kinks. By not playing him at all in the preseason this experiment was destined to fail. Now I hope that they let him use his instincts more and take that stupid dot off his helmet.

Simmons needs to be out there on the field. He does seem to make big game changing plays for the Cardinals which is something that this defense desperately needs. I just hope that the coaching staff doesn't get too cute with him.
