Payton Pritchard is coming into the new season fresh off winning a Sixth Man of the Year award. The Boston Celtics guard could also find himself fighting for a spot in the starting lineup following Jrue Holiday's trade to the Portland Trail Blazers earlier this summer. Of course, Pritchard will face fierce competition from Anfernee Simons, who moved to the Celtics as part of the Holiday trade.

Nevertheless, Pritchard could be in line for a career year. If he's given consistent minutes as a starter, he will likely raise his game to match the new role. After all, Pritchard has risen to every challenge since entering the NBA and is now seen as one of the best role players in the NBA.

During a recent video from the YouTube channel "NBA Central," the host pinpointed Pritchard as a potential breakout candidate in the NBA. The host noted Pritchard's potential role increase and the way he could thrive in Joe Mazzulla's starting lineup.
