Alabama baseball takes the field for its regular season opener in 10 days.
Coach Rob Vaughn begins his third season as Crimson Tide head coach, one year after guiding Alabama to a 41-win season, a 16-14 record in SEC play, and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
The Tide started the season 16-0 and rose to No. 8 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll before their season ended months later with a first-round NCAA Tournament exit at the Hattiesburg Regional against host Southern Miss.
Justin Lebron headlines a talented list of Alabama players returning for the 2026 season, which will see the Tide begin head-to-head play with a three-game series against Washington State on Feb. 13-15 at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

Alabama is unranked in the preseason USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. The Crimson Tide received six votes for top 25 consideration.
Alabama was also unranked in the preseason Coaches Poll last year before its 41-win season that saw the Crimson Tide open conference play with a sweep of Texas A&M in College Station, and series wins against top 10 teams like the Oklahoma Sooners and Georgia Bulldogs.
The SEC has nine teams in the preseason poll, tied with the ACC for the most ranked teams.
