Couldn't advanced alien life be of any size? Why do we have to assume they would be roughly our size or larger? Wouldn't everything in their world, even their technology, simply coincide with their own particular size? If there world was 100th the size of ours, it wouldn't necessarily be less technical or less intelligent, would it? They would simply have designed everything they invented or created to fit them and their world, and wouldn't think anything of it, just like us. Our world fits us, only because we designed things to be for us.

If dinosaurs would have lived and progressed till now, maybe they would have simply had a world that totally fit them and their needs. And same for tiny creatures. If they were the largest and smartest of their planet, they would be normal by their way of thinking, even though tiny to us. Just like if a huge species came to Earth and found the minute being like us. We might seem like nothing more than ants to them.

So maybe Aliens have been here and are here. Maybe they came in tiny spaceships that seem large and normal for them, but microscopic to us. Is that not feasible? If not, why not?

Absolutely. Just because all like that we know of is oxygen/carbon based, doesn't mean there isn't a methane or aluminum based species out there.

Cephalopods, especially the octopus, are so unique and most octopi are pretty small.

Well, since we can only see 5% of all matter, I think it's possible aliens could be all around us and we wouldn't even know it.
I thought it was closer to 9%.
