TAMPA, FL (KCAU) – Only two days until Siouxland sees two local schools play their New Year’s Eve bowl games. While Nebraska heads to Vegas to face Utah, the Hawkeyes have been soaking up the sun in Tampa, Florida, ahead of their matchup with Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl!
After their tenth consecutive season with at least eight wins, the 8-4 Hawkeyes look to play in the program’s sixth ReliaQuest Bowl, formerly known as the Outback Bowl or the Hall of Fame Bowl.
Taking on a strong-ranked Vandy team led by Heisman finalist Diego Pavia, the Hawkeyes are excited for the next challenge and are hungry for the win in the first-ever meeting between these two programs.
