I have watched a ton of Illinois football games over the last 3 years and even though the team really struggled, their running game was excellent. The primary reason their run game excelled was the play of Kendrick Green. Kendrick was an elite high school wrestler and utilized that balance and strength he developed in wrestling to the football field. His PFF grade for “impact” blocks was one of the highest in the country. At 6’3” and 315 lbs., he has the ability to play both guard and center and has played both in college. I love how explosive and quick he is and how good he blocks on the move. Could be a real steal in round 3-5.
