Inter Milan Wingback Makes Champions League Match Day 2 Best XI
Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries has earned a place in the Champions League (UCL) Match Day 2 best XI after his standout performance against Slavia Prague.
According to UEFA via FCInter1908, the Dutch wingback was on the scoresheet as Inter hammered the Czech champions 3-0 at San Siro.
In addition to Dumfries, Lautaro Martinez notched a brace on his way to winning the ‘Man of the Match’ award.
However, El Toro missed out on a place in the best XI.
Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries has made the cut.

Dumfries was decisive in the Champions League last season, especially in Inter’s semi-final tie against Barcelona.
Reluctant to rest on his laurels, the 29-year-old has maintained his impressive form at the start of the new campaign.
Indeed, he scored a simple tap-in on Tuesday, latching onto Marcus Thuram’s low cross at the back post.
The goal came as a fitting reward for Dumfries’ brilliant display as he tore Slavia’s defense apart with his dynamic runs down the flank.
