As someone who has no clear rooting interest in this preceding and very undecided on what party to vote for today is the only day from my listening that the Republicans have had a witness on the ropes. I don’t think it really matters what’s happening here since nothing will come of it. This whole thing has just disenfranchised me more with government as a whole not just with one party but all.

I will continue to be baffled at people who see one group full of corruption and another trying to hold them to account and replying “You both suck”.

Which witness on the ropes and why do you perceive that witness to be on the ropes?

Vindman he got flustered a couple times and lost his cool. Towards the end the interaction with Jordan about his lawyer tell him not to talk to his superior seemed like Jordan got the better of the exchange since Vindman was stumbling on his words.

I feel the same... However, in a perfect world (so much for that), we wouldn't have to hear about Burisma and Hunter Biden. Or that while Obama was in office, he didn't provide Ukraine with the Javelin - as did Trump.
All of that is noise of course and does absolutely squat to detract from Tump's guilt. But it does provide Trump, his legion of Trumpkins and perhaps others such as 1616, with a fraction of doubt and confusion...

For me, I have zero doubt about Trump's actions here, and everywhere else for that matter... But, the proceedings also reinforce to me that both parties are filled with unscrupulous characters and as such, Americans remain forced to consistently choose the least of all evils...

Trumps people are actually trained to lie. Grisham said that when they took over they found Obama books everywhere with notes left behind saying you won't make it you are going to fail. Several former Obama employees called it a lie, then several Trump folks who are no longer there came forward and said total lie, just the opposite they found notes of encouragement. Then Grisham said Susan Rice was overreacting and that I never said everywhere just in the press area downstairs, which is one of the areas multiple people said Grisham was lying about.

Something that trivial notes from people on the way out, they can't tell the truth about. They're trying to create this appearance that there is mutual hostility, Trump hates Obama, and Obama hates Trump. Obama may well dislike Trump but only because of how Trump treats Obama, Trump hates Obama because he's black and got elected and people love him.

Now he sees Biden as a threat because of the ties to Obama, so he tried to wreck Biden.

I believe a lot of people in the middle believe it’s wrong what he did but also are on the fence for impeachment. Your last sentence is basically how I feel. Both sides have basically pushed me away. I’m not a bible thumping gun toter so I’m not considered a republican but I’m also not a snowflake SJW who needs a million pronouns so I’m not a democrat. Both sides are so far to the extremes it makes you resent government.
