I don’t think we'll be favored to win again until December 14th

Well, the Texans recently clobbered formerly winless Tennessee. So, can’t see us favored in that one either. It’s too bad we can’t schedule Louisiana Tech. or similar such as SEC teams do.

At this point you are certainly correct. But beat Indy and the Packers and suddenly the mindset of everyone is changed.
I still think we can.
I called a win over the Packers when the schedule came out...they just don't scare me.
Of course...that was before we lost out top 10 corners....but I still think CC and the boys are going to give Love nightmares until july

december 14th @ texans (maybe?)
I dunno if we'll be favored against the Texans. Before the season started, I wouldn't have favored the Cards in that game. I think we might be favored against the Falcons though, one week after the Texans game.

I think we'll pull off an upset win or two against somebody before December 14. It's just a feeling I have.

And miss on the pick or he gets injured the first year

There's a pattern beginning to show
Well...if we were to ever bring in a rookie QB now would be a great time.
We have a decent baseline of talent on each level on both sides of the ball...and our young X is just right....enough experience to bail the kid out a little at times but new enough to not be set in any bad habits.
Watching Marv and Benson grow with a rookie QB would be cool...
Like watching aikman, Irvin, and Smith develop together...but better, because they ain't cowboys

It's been time to draft a high QB

Now we have to do it

But do we trust this staff to make the right decision?

I do actually.

I mean...if we can't trust them to draft a guy...how the hell can we trust them to determine that kyler ain't the guy and will never be the guy?

We can say "just look at his play" but he has been playing by their rules and using their playbook...
Kyler did take us to the playoffs once...

So yeah... I trust Monti to pick a solid QB and I trust JG to give solid input on the decision
