I miss Scott Player.
The kick is up....oh! It hits the upright...and then hits the cross bar!
Wait. That was the Bears playoff game last year.
Yeah Cody Parker however he was actually a pretty accurate kicker.
Yup very accurate. He hit the upright 4 times in the game vs Detroit. Don’t remember ever seeing a kicker do that.
So the real question is what does he have to do with his kicking style to correct such close misses into good FGs? It would seem that all it would take is an adjustment in his approach to move the ball slightly in direction.
A Modest Proposal:
Hitting the upright on a FG attempt is worth one point.

Parkley out did himself in the playoffs. He hit the post and crossbar in the loss to the Eagles.
